Welcome to the Second Conference on New Generation Solar Cells

First round notification

Recently, the new generation solar cells have attracted wide interest. For the emerging perovskite solar cell, a high power conversion efficiency exceeding 20% has been achieved, standing by multicrystalline silicon and chalcogenide heterojunction solar cells and implying commercial application in the future. To promote the development and communication of this field in China, ‘the first Conference on New Generation Solar Cells & Perovskite Solar Cells’ was held in May, 2014 entrusted by the Photochemistry Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society, and impressive results were obtained. In the past year, many achievements have been made in the research of new generation solar cells. In this case, ‘the second Conference on New Generation Solar Cells’ is going to be held in Beijing (May 23th-24th, 2015) for a further communication in this field. Also entrusted by the Photochemistry Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society, this conference will be held by the Key Laboratory for Renewable Energy (CAS), Key Laboratory for Photochemistry (CAS), Institute of Chemistry (CAS), Beijing Key Laboratory for New Energy Materials and Devices and Center for Clean Energy, Institute of Physics (CAS). The conference offers researchers from academia and industry a forum to meet, share results and discuss hot topics in the new generation solar cells. An overall view of the recent progresses on new-generation solar cells, such as perovskite solar cells, dye-sensitized solar cells, quantum-dot solar cells and organic-inorganic hybrid solar cells will be provided in the conference. Especially the opportunities, challenges and trends in the development of new-generation solar cells & perovskite solar cells, will be fully discussed. It is a good opportunity for the attendees to communicate and seek the potential cooperation, especially promoting the connection between the industry and academics and pushing forward the science and technology of new-generation solar cells in China.

Submission abstracts

Authors are requested to submit an extended abstract (maximum 2 pages, A4 size) with double-spaced or 1.5-spaced with a font size of 12 pt (Times New Roman preferred). Please send the abstract as the attached file via email (abs_solar_conf2015@163.com). The submission deadline is May 12, 2015.

Registration

No registration fee for this conference is needed. Meals, accommodation and transportation are at your own expenses. Application form and the abstract are necessary to attend the conference. Please send the Application form to solar_conf_2015@163.com and the abstract to abs_solar_conf2015@163.com
